
The CFO is responsible for accurate and timely execution and management of the finance function as well as providing strategic direction to the business alongside direct responsibility for cash management, strategic analysis, risk management and scenario planning.
The CFO will lead key financial business planning activities including responsibility for financial controls, reporting, analysis and budgeting and forecasting.
Requirements:
- CA (SA)
- At least 12-15 years post-qualifying experience with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role
- Relevant experience in the ticketing, events or entertainment industry is beneficial.
- A proven capability to apply themselves with a commercial and strategic perspective to a technology-enabled, complex operating environment with high transaction volumes.
- Extensive knowledge of financial reporting in accordance with IFRS.
- Experience in managing a full finance function.
- Competent in engaging with and presenting to executives, shareholders and board members – the ability to conceptualise strategic objectives; interpret complex financial and accounting data into useful information for a wide audience; present financial performance and drive shareholder value.
- Strategic, autonomous and commercially minded individual. Must be analytical with sound interpersonal abilities.
- Team player with the willingness and capability to act as key support to the CEO.
