Our client, a leading player in the logistics and transport sector, is looking for an exceptional commercially minded executive to join their leadership team.
This is far more than a traditional finance role. You’ll partner directly with the CEO and shareholders, taking ownership of high-impact strategic projects, investment opportunities, financial modelling, business performance, and new venture development. You’ll have a seat at the the table where key commercial decisions are made and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business.
What you’ll be involved in:
- Driving strategic projects from concept through execution
- Leading complex financial analysis, modelling and commercial insights
- Evaluating acquisitions, investments and new business opportunities
- Supporting the launch and growth of new ventures
- Working across finance, operations, strategy and capital allocation
- Identifying opportunities to leverage AI and technology to improve business performance and decision-making
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a CA(SA) (or equivalent finance/investment qualification)
- Has approximately 5-10 years experience in corporate finance, transaction services, private equity, investment banking, strategic finance or another highly analytical environment
- Combines exceptional financial and analytical ability with commercial judgement
- Thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
- Is naturally curious, hands-on and enjoys solving complex business problems
- Has an interest in technology, AI and building businesses, not just analyzing them
